Setting IP Address Pada Jaringan

-Masuk terminal console

-login sebagai root:
su
-kemudian enter your password
-kemudian kita setting IP kompi kita dengan perintah:
pico /etc/network/interfaces
-pada jendela editor tersenut kita ketik setting IP kita. Contoh:
GNU nano 2.0.9 File: /etc/network/interfaces

auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
tambahkan
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.1.2
netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.1.1
-alu di simpan dengan menekan tombol CTRL+O
-Untuk mengaktifkan settingan IP yang telah kita buat, kita harus merestart jaringan pada kompi kita dengan:
/etc/init.d/networking restart
-jika setting jaringan kita berhasil maka akan keluar pernyataan:
* Reconfiguring network interfaces… [ OK ]
